PreXion 3D Explorer
The World’s First 3D CBCT with Integrated Ceph X-Ray
With the precision and professional competence of PreXion, dental professionals have a powerful partner at their side.
Load multiple patient scans on a single screen. Synchronize pre- and post-operative scans and detect differences slice by slice.
Patient Education and Presentation
Quickly capture 3D animated video clips for patient education and lecture presentations. Increase case acceptance through better patient understanding.
Automatically save 3D image reports to an MS Word template and attach to the patient’s practice management record. Collaborate with referring dentists by burning a patient disc with the sample viewer. Capture and email images quickly.
Work on cases from home or a satellite office without long connectivity delays. Lead virtual treatment planning meetings remotely with PreXion3D.
Thin Client Server
PreXion3D CBCT scanners do not require computer hardware upgrades. Their software does not slow down network bandwidth like other CBCT scanners.
Use our extensive library or customize your own.
Save your case workup as a scene or create multiple saved scenes with a single scan.
Save time with over 20 pre-made 3D volume rendering templates or customize your own.
Slab and Cutting
Slab feature allows the clinician to see inside structures while rotating the 3D image. Cut away structures to see exactly what is pertinent to your case.
The PreXion3D Explorer PRO
The PreXion3D Explorer PRO
The powerful system components of the PreXion3D Explorer enable an extraordinary combination of the most precise 3D dental imaging, large image detail, low radiation exposure, reliable diagnostics and digital planning for all indications in modern dentistry.
Field of View & Focal Spot
The PreXion3D Explorer PRO utilizes the smallest focal spot in the industry at 0.3mm for all FOVs, and voxel sizes ranging from 0.07mm to 0.3mm in order to maintain image quality. The output in ultra-HD with a small voxel size enables a more detailed representation of even the finest structures.
What is a Focal Spot?
The focal spot, also called focus, is the area on the target of the X-ray tube which is struck by the electron stream and emits X-rays. The larger the focal spot’s area, the poorer the detail of the image. The PreXion3D EXPLORER PRO has a 0.3mm focal spot – the smallest in the industry.
What is a Voxel
A combination of the words “volumetric” and “pixel,” a voxel is a three-dimensional volume element shaped like an isometric cube. The PreXion3D EXPLORER PRO offers powerful imaging software with a voxel size of only 0.07mm, ensuring a detailed rendering.
